Gallina Parents/Guardians:
Registration and open house: The first day of school will be held on August 4th starting at 3:00 pm until 8:00pm. Buses will not run!
Although, there are no formal presentations for Elementary students, classroom teachers will be available to visit with parents.
Middle and High School students and their parents will need to attend for registration, participate in presentations, and go through an abbreviated schedule to visit each classroom. These sessions will repeat at least three times throughout the afternoon and evening to accommodate our student’s and parent’s schedules.
There will be a free hotdog meal for all registered students. Hotdog meals will be available for all other attendees at a cost of $3.00 each, add on additional items, i.e., hotdog, ice cream, chips, water for an additional $1.00 per item.
Come and visit all Gallina staff, coaches, administrators, and bus drivers to hear all the new changes being done for the upcoming school year.

We’re excited to announce that pre-registration is now open for the 2025–2026 Jemez Mountain School District Pre-K Program!
Children who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2025, are eligible to enroll at either our Gallina or Lybrook campuses.
Wednesday, June 11, 2025 will be the last day for students.
The Elementary Awards Assembly has been rescheduled to June 4 at 10:00 AM. Please make note of the new date and time. We look forward to celebrating our students' achievements!

We are thrilled to share that the New Mexico Summer Reading Program is offering free structured literacy instruction for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. This program is in partnership with the New Mexico Public Education Department and will provide small group tutoring led by trained literacy instructors.

The following is an important message for parents and guardians of students interested in elementary basketball.
We will be sending home documents for students who have expressed interest in participating. This includes a coach’s contract and information on required physicals.
Each student-athlete must have a completed physical to participate. If your child needs a physical, Las Clinicas Del Norte will be conducting them on Monday and Tuesday.
Please review the documents when they come home and ensure all necessary forms are completed. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
