A TRUE COMMUNITY

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”

Luciente Emergency Response Project

From March through July 2020, Luciente delivered weekly bags of food staples to 252 families in need in Abiquiu, Canones, Youngsville, Coyote and Gallina during the COVID-19 crisis. Our school food pantries continued to support families during remote learning. School staff made sure this critical access to food continued.

Jemez Mountain Schools and Luciente have partnered together to provide a Grab-n-Go Food Pantry for our students/staff and families.

"Thank you all for your support during these unprecedented times."
-Jemez Mountain School District

Northern Youth Project (NYP)

The Northern Youth Project (NYP) is inspiring teenagers to gain hands-on experience in preserving traditions by cultivating native crops.

Northern Youth Project serves young people ages 12 to 21, providing FREE programs and activities year round. The project works to empower teens in putting ideas into action: initiating projects they want to do, focusing on their interests, and engaging in activities driven by their passions.
