Northern New Mexico College’s (NNMC) FREE “Fast Track to Success” Summer Bridge program can prepare participants to take advantage of free college through the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship this fall. This 6-week intensive college readiness program is designed to help high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, high school equivalency recipients and adults returning to college brush up on their math and writing skills.

Tuition, books, course supplies, lunch and a light breakfast are provided through Northern by the F2F (Fast-Track to Finish) Title V Grant and Accelerating Achievement in STEM (STEM XL).

Expanded eligibility requirements for the Opportunity Scholarship will allow many previously ineligible New Mexicans – including adult learners, part-time students and those seeking a trades certificate or associate degree – to qualify for free college tuition and fees. NNMC’s Summer Bridge program helps prepare participants for college-level math and English classes.

The program runs June 6 – July 14, 2022. Proof of vaccination is required.
