Good afternoon Parents, guardians, and staff,

This is Felix Garcia, Superintendent of Jemez Mountain Public Schools. I hope everyone has had a restful and productive summer. We are excited about a new year of school at Jemez Mountain Schools. We have a great deal of work ahead of us in addressing the learning loss of students during the Pandemic Period. We pray for brighter days during the 21- 22 School year. This message is to notify you that, the first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 05. All students will be required to wear masks for the month of August, if we have changes to the mask policy after August we will notify parents. A big change for this school year is that Gallina Elementary students are moving to the Coronado Mid/ High Building. We are confident that your student will be in a better learning environment with more abundant resources. I also want to let you know that we have a new website that is more user-friendly and full of useful information. I invite you to look through it and let us know what you think. I would like to thank Mrs. Crystal Gallegos for the creation of the website she did a wonderful job. Thank you, Mrs. Gallegos. We have several new staff this year, I will have them reach out to you to introduce themselves.
